Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 20 July 2026
BankStmt should be usable by everyone. This statement sets out what we aim for, what we have done, and how to tell us when we fall short.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We have not yet completed a formal third-party accessibility audit, so we describe this as a target we are working towards rather than a certified conformance claim.
What we have done
- Semantic, keyboard-navigable interface with visible focus indicators.
- Light and dark themes with attention to colour contrast.
- Text that scales with browser and system font-size settings, and responsive layouts down to mobile widths.
- Labels and accessible names on interactive controls, and dialogs that announce themselves to assistive technology.
- Interface available in multiple languages, including right-to-left scripts.
Known limitations
- Some data-dense tables and charts are difficult to convey fully through a screen reader; underlying figures can be exported to Excel or CSV as an accessible alternative.
- Uploaded statements are customer documents and may themselves be inaccessible scans; extracted transactions are provided as structured, readable data.
Feedback
If you encounter a barrier, please tell us at support@bankstmt.com with the page and what went wrong. We treat accessibility reports as bugs, aim to acknowledge within 5 business days, and will offer an alternative way to complete the task in the meantime.
